Play inspection
1. With the wheels in the straight-ahead position, start the engine.
2. Turn the steering wheel to the left and right gently, then verify that the
steering wheel
play is within the specification.

0.0-30 mm {0.0-1.1 in}
OIL CONTROL VALVE (OCV) INSPECTION
Coil Resistance Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the OCV connector.
3. Measure the coil resistance between terminals A and B using a tester.
If not within the specification, replace the OCV. (See OIL CONTROL VALVE
(OCV) REMOV
